Description

White Fused Alumina extreme hardness makes it suitable for use as an abrasive and as a component in cutting tools. The major usage of specialty aluminum oxide products is in ceramics, refractories, polishing, and abrasive applications.

White Fused Alumina is a pure, clear Fused Alumina, which makes the whitest vitrified wheels possible with low soda and silica content. This is the most friable aluminum oxide.

It has extremely high purity and large crystal size, so the crystals fracture comparatively swiftly and constantly cutting crystals to small pieces.

White Fused Alumina for Abrasives is used in the grinding of heat sensitive alloys.

Taking advantage of its friability and cool cutting ability, it is widely used in precision grinding of high speed steels, segments and internal grinding wheels.
