Brown Fused Alumina(BFA) is a high-performance, durable abrasive material made by fusing high-quality bauxite at high temperatures. It is widely used in abrasives, refractories, and metal casting.
Get A QuoteBrown Fused Alumina is made from high quality bauxite by fusing in an electric arc furnace at high temperature. It has good toughness and high hardness. It is suitable for manufacturing of Vitrified and Resin Bonded Abrasives, Coated Abrasives, for lapping, Polishing and Sandblasting.
The abrasive tools made of brown aluminum oxide are suitable for grinding carbon steel, normal alloy steel, malleable cast iron and hard bronze etc.
Brown Fused Alumina for Abrasives can be divided into two kinds:
(1) For bonded Abrasives:BFA-01 (with Medium Density)and BFA-02 (with High Density);
(2) For Coated Abrasives:
We can also produce medium (1050C) and high (1350C) tempreture calcined Brown Fused Alumina and Coated BFA.
F8-F220,F240-F1200 or any other sizes by customer's requirement.
